Kapil Sharma's biopic confirmed titled 'Funkaar' directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba

With his comedy, Kapil Sharma has always tickled the funny bones. He arrived in Mumbai with high hopes from a little town and began a comedy show that made him the best comedian indeed.

For quite some time, it was speculated that a biopic will be made on Kapil Sharma. Finally, it has been made official that a Biopic titled 'Funkaar' on Kapil Sharma's life will soon begin its filming.

Yes, Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official media accounts to confirm the news. The biopic will be helmed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the director of the popular film Fukrey who will carve out his life's ups and downs (Kapil Sharma biopic).

The project is being bankrolled by Mahaveer Jain under the banner of Lyca Productions whereas it is being presented by Subaskaran.

Meanwhile, currently, Kapil is hosting his comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show which is one of the most loved shows on Indian Television.

Kapil Sharma is also set to debut on Netflix soon, in which he will reveal some previously unseen details about himself. What will be portrayed in his biopic now will be intriguing to see. Fans are anticipating his flick at the moment.
