Karan Mehra arrested after wife Nisha Rawal lodged complaint of assault against him!

Popular Television actor Karan Mehra who is known for his character Naitik in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' was been arrested by Mumbai Police on Monday as wife Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him.

A tweet posted by news agency ANI read as, "Maharashtra | Actor Karan Mehra arrested after his wife & actor Nisha Rawal filed a complaint in Goregaon area last night. Rawal filed a complaint against Mehra following a brawl. A case has been registered: Mumbai Police."

The reports of trouble in the marital life brewed from the month of May but has started buzzing recently. When a national daily contacted the couple about the same, Nisha refused to comment on it and just said its not true whereas Karan refused to talk about the same.

On Monday night, Nisha also posted a picture with son Kavish and captioned the post as, "Watching the world through ur eyes has been quite a sight my Littloo @kavishmehra

A promise to explore the world together with a smile on our faces that would warm sad hearts!" This caption is quite a hint though, we don't conclude anything about the same.

As per the reports, on Monday night, following a domestic dispute, Karan allegedly pushed Nisha against the wall and she eventually hurt her head after which she approached the Police and filed a complaint against him. An FIR has been registered under section 336 and 337 of IPC.

Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal tied the knot in November 2012 and have a son Kavish who is four-year old. They also appeared in dance reality show Nach Baliye 5.

On the work front, Nisha was last seen in television show Shaadi Mubarak. Meanwhile Karan was seen in the music video Bewafa Tera Masoom Chehra by Jubin Nautiyal.
