Kaun Banega Crorepati season 14: The quiz show is finally happening and people are testing their knowledge, if not in the hot seat then at their homes.  In the meanwhile, KBC 14 has a new question for Rs 75 lakh in an order to mark the 75 years of India's Independence.

During the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 14, the contestant Shruthy Daga chose not to attempt the question for Rs 75 lakh. She quit the game with prize money of Rs 50 lakh.

Notably, Shruthy Daga had spent all her lifelines, and hence, she did not want to take a risk by attempting the question.

Soon after she decided to quit, Amitabh Bachchan asked her to make a guess before she leaves. Shruthy locked option A i.e. Chaukhandi stupa.

The answer was wrong. The right answer is option C i.e. Dhamek stupa. In the meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan praised Shruthy Daga for playing fearlessly and with patience. The top prize on the quiz show had been Rs 7 crore since 2013. However, it was increased to Rs 7.5 crore in season 14 of Kaun Banega Crorepati to celebrate the 75 years of India's independence.
