Mumbai diaries season 2 trailer; The new season promises a visual feast of life and death amid ‘Sinking Mumbai’

One of the most beloved Amazon Prime Video series 'Mumbai Diaries' is al set to come in the OTT screens this October, 2023. Yes, you heard it correct! The trailer of the newest installment was unveiled on Friday, September 29, 2023. Written and directed by Nikkil Advani, produced under the banner of Emmay Entertainment, the trailer of the upcoming sequel looks extremely enthralling and magnificent embedded with a stellar casts ensemble.

The 'Mumbai Diaries 2'

Prime Video India's one of the most seeking medical drama helmed under the Indian entertainment business, Mumbai Diaries was originally released in 2021 which encircled around the infamous incident of Mumbai 26/11. The series which previously revolved around the role of doctors during the nerve wrecking incident is now slatted to bring in with another challenge 'the city of dreams' have to face. The promising and thriller looking show will bring back the staffs of Mumbai General Hospital once again who will battle harder to save the city from the watery havoc. 

Starry Casts

The second season will bring in light the stellar casts of the previous season that includes Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Prakash Belawadi and Mrunmayee Deshpande along with some newest faces such as Riddhi Dogra and Parambrata Chattopadhyay. 

The upcoming installment will show the struggle of the lives of the doctors during a leading havoc where Mumbai is said to be 'Sinking' under water. Thus the saviors shall strive to keep aside their own emotion, family and other personal issues clinging with their own future to save the people from the catastrophe. As per the the show is going to premiere on October 6, 2023 exclusively on it's parent OTT platform 'Amazon Prime Video'. 

Mohit Raina on Season 2

During a previous interview, the lead actor Mohit Raina shared his words about the upcoming television series and quoted, "I'm incredibly excited about the second season of Mumbai Diaries. It's been a remarkable journey so far, and I think the audience will get to see a different side to Dr. Kaushik this season. In the first season, we laid the foundation of our characters and the hospital's dynamic, and now, in season two, we're delving even deeper into the personal and professional lives of our characters".
