Lock Upp: Payal Rohatgi 'to ask' Elon Musk to restore her suspended Twitter account

Lock Upp contestant Payal Rohatgi has been in the headlines for her statements and revelations in the Kangana Ranaut hosted reality show. Now, she is in the news for her statement over her Twitter suspension after Elon Musk bought the microblogging site.

In Lock Upp, the contestants are informed about the biggest headlines of the outside world every day. The recent news flash stated that the tech billionaire Elon Musk has taken over Twitter and Payal Rohatgi had an interesting reply.

Notably, Payal Rohatgi's Twitter account was suspended in 2020 for violating the rules of the social media site. Meanwhile, Payal said that she was hopeful the platform will become "a free space."

She is also hopeful that her suspended account may be restored after Elon Musk bought Twitter. Payal has even decided to DM Elon Musk after the show requesting him to get her account restored.

"Twitter will now become free space and even my account may be restored now. I would like to share my opinions on the platform now that Elon Musk owns it," Payal said.

While reacting to the development, the co-contestant Azma Fallah suggested Payal reach out to the Tesla CEO on DMs. To this, Payal replied, "Yes you are right. I will DM him and request him to restore my Twitter account."
