Madhubala's sister spills the beans about the actress love life; Deets inside

Madhubala news: The legendary actress Madhubala's 90th birth anniversary was celebrated.  Bollywood actress Madhubala won many hearts through her acting and her beauty in the late 1940s. The actress often discussed her love life as she loved Dilip Kumar and married Kishore Kumar but there was a slight twist in the story.

Madhubala's sister spills the beans about the actress

Recently Madhubala's sister revealed some unknown facts about the actress. It is believed that the actress first fell in love with Premnath and was also known as the tragedy queen of Bollywood not only because of her onscreen image but also because of her love life.

However, when Madhubala's sister Madhur Bhushan was asked about the Mughal-E-Azam actress's love life she said that at that time Hindus and Muslims getting married was a big issue and one couldn't even think about it. Then, she said that her father objected to their relationship, saying it was unacceptable.

Further, she said it was difficult for the actress to move on from Premnath. Later, she moved on as it was a short-lived relationship because both of them were serious about their career and it was of utmost importance to them.

Unknown facts about Madhubala

Although. it was not the first time that Madhur was discussing the actress  relationship with Premnath. In 2013, she also told Filmfare that the relationship only lasted for a few months and ended because two different religions were clashing with each other.

It is also believed that she then came in relation with Dilip Kumar but that also ended for unknown reasons. Then, she decided to marry Kishore Kumar in 1960 and then Madhubala remained bedridden for some years and got left all her fans in 1969.

For the unversed, The actress's real name was Mumtaz Jehan Begum Dehlavi and she started working at a very young age and made her debut as a child actor in the movie 'Basant'.  She has worked in some brilliant films namely 'Mughal-E-Azam', 'Mr and Mrs 55', 'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi', 'Half Ticket,' 'Kala Paani' and many others.
