Mere Desh ki Dharti release date: 'Mirzapur' fame Divyenndu Sharma's upcoming film 'Mere Desh ki Dharti' is all set to release in May. The film faced several delays due to the coronavirus pandemic but it has now got a new release date.

As per the new release date, the film 'Mere Desh Ki Dharti', helmed by Faraz Haider, will be released on May 6 this year.

Informing the same, Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote: "'MERE DESH KI DHARTI' NEW RELEASE DATE... Dr #ShrikantBhasi and #CarnivalMotionPictures announce new release date of #MereDeshKiDharti: In *cinemas* 6 May 2022... Stars #Divyenndu, #AnupriaGoenka and #AnantVidhaat... Directed by #FarazHaider... Produced by #VaishaliSarwankar."

Excited about the release? Even the star cast is excited and why not? They waited long for the release after all. Divyenndu Sharma is best known as 'Munna Bhaiya', his character in the 'Mirzapur' series.

He said that "It's fascinating to see how people react to films that are inspirational and convey a powerful and compelling message. 'Mere Desh Ki Dharti' has been a long time coming, and I'm overjoyed that it will be released in theatres on May 6."

He further said that "we've received some heartwarming feedback from film festivals on the subject and the story. Mere Desh ki Dharti is a brilliant agricultural drama with a lot of comedy. I can't wait for the audience to see the film."

Mere Desh ki Dharti is said to be a social drama that will highlight the contemporary situation prevailing in our country where the rural and urban divide comes to the fore.
