Music maestro A R Rahman appointed as brand ambassador of 'India-UK Together Season of Culture'

A R Rahman, the legendary musician, has been appointed the ambassador of the British Council's 'India-UK Together Season of Culture,' which encourages collaboration among emerging artists.

The 'Season of Culture,' which celebrates India's 75th anniversary of independence, was officially launched on Tuesday by Britain's Deputy High Commissioner to India Jan Thomson and British Council Director (India) Barbara Wickham.

AR Rahman has been selected as its ambassador for the same reason. Speaking about it, the renowned musician expressed his excitement at being a part of an innovative cultural initiative that encourages artistic excellence and appreciation while bringing diverse audiences together.
