Nawazuddin Siddiqui says stars who charge Rs100 crore end up 'harming' films

Nawazuddin Siddiqui news: Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is best known for his roles in The Lunchbox, 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', 'Badlapur', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Manjhi' and many more.

Recently in an interview he has opened up about how actors should not even talk about box-office collections and ticket sales because he considers it as 'corruption of craft' and called it the producer's responsibility to check on it. The actor mentioned that it is the film's budget that makes a movie a hit or a flop and also stated that actors who charge 100 crore for a film actually cause harm to films.

Further, Nawaz said that whenever a a film's budget is beyond the limits of potentiality, it would definitely be a flop. He then said that actors, directors, storytellers don't flop. It is the film's budget that makes it a hit or a flop. When Nawaz was asked what was more important for cinema big budget or big ideas, he replied saying that money has always chased good ideas and passion.

In addition to it, he said that  he could have trillion dollars but if the actors don't have the ability to think of one decent idea then the trillion dollars change into small change. He then stated that if a person has good script then producers will run behind him with money only to get the script.

Whereas more importance should be given to people with capable brains so that it can have a creative outcome. Another reason that he has pointed out was that the ticket prices oft he film were too high.

On the work front, he will be next seen in 'Haddi' which is all set to release in the year 2023. In the meantime, fans are eager to see Nawazuddin back on screen with something different.
