Omjee Studios confirm the release date of film 'Padma Shri Kaur Singh' starring Karam Batth, Prabh Grewal and others
Kaur Singh is the only Indian boxer who has ever faced Muhammad Ali. A new biopic is in the works to chronicle the man's life. The film, titled "Padma Shri Kaur Singh," will follow the heavyweight boxer's life and achievements. The film stars Karam Batth, and its producers have confirmed that it would be released in theatres around the world on July 8, 2022.
Prabh Grewal, Baninder Bunny, Sukhbir Gill, Sukhwinder Chahal, Malkeet Rauni, Seema Kaushal, and Gurpreet Bhangu are among others.
Kaur Singh, an Indian boxing legend, is the subject of this film. He is one of India's most decorated boxers, hailing from the Malwa district of Punjab. He became an overnight national hero after winning the heavyweight boxing gold medal in the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi.

Actor Karam Batth on playing the role of Kaur Singh stated, "Playing boxing legend Kaur Singh on Screens was a huge task for me, not only in terms of physical transformation, but also in terms of mental pressure. Making this film taught me a lot throughout the process. It helped me improve my acting talents and become a better actor."
Vikram Pradhan written and directed the film based on the life of the boxing champion. This film is made in collaboration with Karam Batth and Vicky Mann and will be released in theaters on July 8.
