Hotstar's latest action-drama 'Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo' offers a thrilling take on classic Indian Saas-Bahu genre!
Disney Hotstar is all set to bring in a whole new ride of family drama to the Indian households. 'Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo' is the OTT platforms new show that has released it's teaser trailer on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Starring all female leads, the women's are anything but 'Sanskari bahu', pretty contrasting take on Indian televisions classic 'Saas-Bahu' genre.

'Saas Bahu aur Flamingo' is a story written by Deepak Venkateshan and directed under Homi Adajania. The show is a star studded full packed creation led by Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, Deepak Dobriyal including Angira Dhar, Monica Dogra, Ashish Verma, Mark Bennington, Udit Arora in some other pivotal roles.
Storyline synopsis
The 50 minute long teaser trailer of the show is an amazing ride of formatting storyline of what audience should expect from the series. The teaser stars off with subtle scenes highlighting Indian ideologies of Saas Bahu which changes with the ending half of the video. Instead of living under Indian stereotypes this time the ladies were seen holding guns and getting engaged in some power packed blood-shed action scenes. According to the show synopsis, the show is an amalgamation of an 'unapologetically hardcore' mother-in-law with an tenacious younger woman.
Radhika Madan warns the Indian audience!
Actress Radhika Madan has taken over her Instagram handle to share the teaser trailer and warned the Indian audience with a 'beware' caption. She quoted, "Chetaavni: Yeh Kamjor dil vaalon ke liye nahin hain! Kripaya na dekhe. Kyun? Kyunki......." The overpowering action scenes indeed proves what the actress is trying to convey!
Release date
Meanwhile fans are intrigued with such an action filled dramatic mind bending storyline and cannot wait for the series to hit over the Hotstar scenes. However the show is all set to release on May 05, 2023.
