Jawan OTT Release Date: Atlee Hints On Releasing Extended Version of SRK's Blockbuster For Online Audience

Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster film 'Jawan' is making waves with its enormous box office collections to date. Directed by Atlee, the family entertainer earned a whopping Rs 75 Crores on its initial date of release, September 7. As soon as the film was released in the theaters, fans were curious to know Jawan's OTT release date and platform. 

For the SRKians, it is a moment to rejoice as director Atlee has unveiled a few hints about the Jawan OTT release.

'Jawan' has become the talk of the town with its incredible success at the box office. It not only broke opening day records but also became the fastest Hindi film to surpass the Rs 400 crore mark. Fans can't seem to get enough of the film, flocking to cinemas, watching it multiple times, and sharing their experiences on social media.

Jawan Movie OTT Release Date and Platform

While many are relishing the theatrical experience, some are eagerly anticipating the film's digital release. Atlee recently revealed during an interview that 'Jawan' is set to make its way to OTT platforms. However, there are speculations that the movie rights are sold to the Global streaming giant- Netflix including satellite broadcasting, digital, and music rights.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, director Atlee said that fans would be having a unique experience on OTT, different from what they saw in theaters. He mentioned that they are working on adapting the film's pacing and rhythm for the digital audience, hinting at some exciting surprises.

Jawan 2 Movie in Making?

Apart from the OTT release date and platform, Atlee also revealed that there might be 'Jawan 2' in the making. 

'Jawan' boasts a star-studded cast featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, along with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The ensemble includes talented actors such as Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Eijaz Khan, Leher Khan, Aaliya Qureshi, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Girija Oak in supporting roles. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance, and Sunil Dutt graces the film with a cameo role.
