The 54th International Film Festival of India kicked off with a bang as the much-anticipated trailer of 'Kadak Singh' featuring Pankaj Tripathi in the lead, was revealed.
The trailer hints at a fascinating plot centered around Kadak Singh, played by Tripathi, a Joint Director at the Department of Financial Crimes grappling with retrograde amnesia. As the story unfolds, Kadak Singh finds himself in a hospital, confronted with four conflicting narratives about his past, leading him to question the very nature of reality. The trailer intriguingly suggests that Kadak Singh may not be the mere victim in this enigmatic tale.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan, Sanjana Sanghi, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja, and Varun Buddhadev, promising audiences a gripping narrative that delves into the complexities of identity.
Sanjana Sanghi takes on the role of Kadak Singh's daughter, offering assistance in the hospital, but appearances may be deceiving. Parvathy Thiruvothu, on the other hand, portrays a knowledgeable nurse who seems to be privy to more information than meets the eye.
In a statement, Pankaj Tripathi expressed his excitement about the project, stating, "Kadak Singh is unlike anything I have played before. He is an unusual character, and it was such a joy to portray such a layered personality. Additionally, I got to work with some incredible talent, including Tony Da, Parvathy, Jaya, and the young and enthusiastic ones like Sanjana."
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film will be released on December 8 on Zee 5.
