Mirzapur 3 to release on this date: Prime Video drops major hint about cast, plot and date
'Mirzapur' is surely the country's biggest crime thriller. Starring a whopping star cast, Pankaj Tripathi to Ali Fazal, the drama series has grabbed immaculate couches as a gripping storytelling show over the past few years. After two successful seasons, the show is set to come into the OTT platform this year with its third installment. Well, the announcement of the sequel was made earlier but no confirmed date of its release was announced. However, its OTT parent, Prime Video has recently made some big updates regarding the show's release date, cast, and plot making Mirzapur fans go gaga over the big breaking of Indian television.
As Mirzapur fans wait for the third season with bated breaths, the OTT giant, Prime Video has teased the fandom with some big updates regarding its release date but with a twist. Yes, you heard it correctly! By taking over its official Instagram handle, Prime Video shared an enthralling caricature poster of 'Mirzapur 3' featuring the major characters of the series including Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Harshita Gaur and Vijay Verma. But the caricature poster seemed to tell about its release date without really telling it. Wondering how? Well, the caption read, "Ab #MS3W poochna nahi, dhoondna hai. Toh ho jaiye shuru."
As soon as the poster and the caption went public, people started speculating and seeing through the hints. Many of them shared their observations. One wrote, "7 Guns, 7 people, 7 written on car’s number plate, 7 carpets, Seems like 7th July." Another user on the other hand wrote, "7 Characters, 7 pistols and 7 carpets. So,let say 7*3 = 21. Also its full moon, so in this coming month of July the full moon is occurring on 21st July. There might be a chance that S3 is going to be released on 21.07.24." Well we must salute people's keen observation even on such minuteness.
The way Mirzapur's story ended in the last season, its climax still awaits people for the after story with utter excitement. It left wondering whether Guddu bhaiya played by Ali Fazal was successful is taking revenge and claiming his power over Kaleen bhaiya or is it just what happened opposite? The third season will be all about that. In short, full of more drama, vengeance, power, gore, and bonds! The upcoming season is also looking forward to bring fewer new faces such as Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma, Sheeba Chaddha, Manu Rishi Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, and Farzi actor Bhuvan Arora along with the previous faces. However, the release date of the series is not disclosed by the makers yet.
