Did You Know Ammy Virk Lent His SUV for an Action Sequence in Upcoming Movie 'Bad Newz'?
Actor-singer Ammy Virk, renowned in the Punjabi entertainment industry, is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated film 'Bad Newz.' In a recent appearance on the popular show Bombay Journey, alongside Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, Ammy revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes story about the film.
During the conversation, Ammy shared that an unexpected challenge arose during the shoot of 'Bad Newz' in Mussoorie. The production team struggled to find an SUV at a reasonable rate for an action sequence. Ammy, ever the problem solver, offered his own car for the shoot. "They needed a car to shoot a sequence in the film," Ammy recounted. "The unit wasn’t able to find an SUV at a reasonable rate."
He continued, "I asked them to take my car. The action team of the film looked at me and said, 'Are you sure we could take it?'" With a humorous touch, Ammy added, "You will only drive it, and not roll down the mountain, right?" This comment left both Vicky and the show's host, Siddharth Alambayan, in splits.
In a candid moment, Ammy shared his conversation with fellow actor Taapsee Pannu. "I spoke with Taapsee Pannu, and she told me, 'Are you crazy? I would have never given them my car.'"
'Bad Newz,' which also stars 'Animal' star Triptii Dimri, is set to hit theatres on July 19.
Ammy Virk, a leading figure in Punjabi entertainment, also highlighted Vicky Kaushal's significant role in promoting Punjabi music. Ammy emphasized that Vicky's enthusiastic support and genuine love for Punjabi music have been crucial in making numerous tracks go viral, bringing them into the mainstream.
