Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Aliaa Bhatt and Katrina Kaif to star in Farhan Akhtar's next directorial 'Jee Le Zaraa'!

For years, fans have lauded Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, there has been a lot of discussion about why there isn't a single true-blue Bollywood road trip film with three leading ladies.

Well it seems like the wait is all over. Farhan Akhtar surprised his admirers with a news that put a smile on everyone's face as Excel Entertainment celebrates its 20th anniversary. Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt star in Jee Le Zaraa, a female road trip narrative directed by the actor.

Sharing the information with everyone, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media accounts to share the motion poster of the same. "Did someone say road trip?

Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it.

#JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra@katrinakaif@aliaabhatt will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road. ?❤️" wrote the Toofaan Actor. 

Priyanka also took to her Instagram handle to share the update and captioned, “Did someone say road trip?”

The film is written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Reema Kagti, and will release in 2023.

Jee Le Zaraa also marks Priyanka's first collaboration with Aliaa Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.

PeeCee previously appeared in Shah Rukh Khan's film Don, directed by Farhan Akhtar. In Dil Dhadakne Do and The Sky Is Pink, the two also shared screen time.

Alia, on the other hand, had previously worked with Tiger Baby Films on the award-winning Gully Boy film. Katrina, on the other hand, was a part of Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.
