Punjabi singer Kamal Khaira arrested in Chandigarh; here's why

In a major incident, Punjabi singer Kamal Khaira and his associate were arrested by the Chandigarh police for allegedly thrashing two brothers in a road rage incident near Panjab University.

According to the information, the complaint was filed by, Hardik Ahluwalia who is a resident of New Chandigarh. He reported that he and his brother were returning home from the Panjab University (PU) in Chandigarh when a recklessly driven Thar hit their car,.

Reportedly, the Thar was overtaking them near Gate No. 2 of the Panjab University.

The complainant further claimed that Kamal Khaira and his aide got came out of their vehicle and started having an argument with him and his brother. Hardik alleged that they even assaulted both of them and threatened them.

Meanwhile, both Hardik and his brother got injured and were taken to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, Chandigarh. Soon after the complaint was filed, the police registered a case under Sections 279, 337, 323, 341, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code at Sector 11 police station.

Likewise, Chandigarh police arrested the Punjabi singer Kamal Khaira and his accomplice, who has been identified as Randhir. Later, they were released on bail.
