Disco King, who had been ill for some time, died of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital, according to reports. Since then, a number of celebrities have used their social media platforms to pay heartfelt tribute to Bappi Lahiri. Ranveer Singh took to social media to share a video of his nostalgic tribute performance for the great at an awards ceremony. He also posted videos from a 2018 award ceremony in which the late artist was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to Bollywood music. publive-image Image Source: Instagram Ranveer can be seen greeting Bappi Lahiri on stage and dancing to his song in one of the videos. In the video clip, Ranveer Singh pays a touching homage to Bappi Lahiri, describing him as a "Bonafide Legend." Bappi Da learned how to play the Tabla when he was three years old when everyone else was learning to hold a pencil. When everyone else began listening to music at the age of 11, Bappi Da began making music, stated Ranveer in the video. The actor went on to remark that the singer that he began working in the industry while he was in his early twenties.
