Rapper Badshah signs Global deal with Universal Music Group!
Rapper Badshah has added a feather to his cap by signing a global deal with Universal Music Group. The 35-year-old singer, who is best known for hit songs like "Paani Paani," "Genda Phool," "Heartless," "DJ Waley Babu," and "Mercy," said he is looking forward to starting a "new chapter" in his life.
"It's time for Indian music to break into the global soundscape, and we're at a turning point in the music industry. From melodies to instruments, music is rooted in Indian culture" Badshah stated.

The Baawla singer further added, "I want to create music for everyone and promote the vibrancy of India to the rest of the globe, and I'm excited to join with the UMI team on this mission. I am completely motivated by the power of dreams, and the objective with the Universal Music team is to bring them all to life.”

This multi-year agreement includes that the worldwide music record company will back all of the future projects, including upcoming albums, music publishing rights for non-film compositions, brand licensing, and partnerships.
