Salman Khan sings 'Lag Jaa Gale' as he pays tribute to the late singer Lata Mangeshkar; watch video

Lata Mangeshkar, the music pioneer in the field and famous singer, was known for her beautiful songs and heartfelt renditions.  Her death shocked the country, as tributes to the late singer filled social media. Salman Khan paid a heartfelt tribute to the late musician on Instagram today.

Salman shared a video in which he can be seen singing 'Lag Jaa Gale,' one of Lata's most remembered songs. He captioned the video, "Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji...," Salman's heartfelt tribute to Mangeshkar was well received by fans. 'I love you, Salman Sir,' an admirer wrote. 'There has never been, and there will never be any1.

After being diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia, Lata Mangeshkar died on February 6, 2022, in Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital. Lata Mangeshkar was cremated with full state honors at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on February 6, 2022.

On Sunday, a number of celebs, including Shraddha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan, paid their respects to the legendary singer in Shivaji Park. Lata Mangeshkar, for the uninitiated, was taken to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on January 8 after being diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

Salman is currently working on Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. Shah Rukh Khan is expected to make a cameo appearance in the film, which stars Emraan Hashmi as the villain.
