Shahid Kapoor's much awaited film 'Bull' to release in April 2023

Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly preparing for his next film, 'Bull,' which will be produced by Bhushan Kumar. The actor, who also has a slew of other projects in the works, recently gave his fans reason to rejoice when the release date of his film 'Bull' was officially confirmed.

Taran Adarsh recently revealed the film's release date, which is April 7, 2023. The film is set in the 1980s and will be based on the life of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara.

T-Series Managing Director Bhushan Kumar said, 'Bull' is an ambitious project and one of the biggest action movies to come out of T-Series' stable; with this release, we continue to reassure audiences' long-standing romance with the silver screen. It's a Shahid Kapoor film made to be seen in a theatre near you."

Shahid Kapoor also expressed his excitement about the project and stated that it was a privilege to play a paratrooper who leads his team on a "historic and selfless mission." He stated, "It's an honour to play a paratrooper who leads his men on a historic and selfless mission that has become iconic for its precision and bravado. The chance to play a paratrooper is thrilling and truly an honour."

The film will be based on true events in the life of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who oversaw 'Operation Cactus' in the Maldives. After a coup attempt by Abdullah Luthufi, a businessman, and his men, along with mercenaries from Sri Lanka's Tamil secessionist organisation, the Maldivian forces were assisted by their Indian counterparts in retaking control of their country. Although no additional information about the film or Shahid Kapoor's character has been released, fans are excited to see Kapoor in a new role.
