Shamita Shetty, Raqesh Bapat confirm their split; share breakup post on social media

Shamita Shetty, Raqesh Bapat breakup news: The popular couple Shetty and Raqesh Bapat, who were together for quite long, has now parted ways. The couple took to their respective social media accounts to confirm the news. The couple met on Bigg Boss OTT and generated a lovable bond afterwards they featured on Bigg Boss 15 and expressed their love for each other. However, the two have now announced about their break up and requested fans to continue loving them as ‘individuals’.

The couple expressed love for each other in the show and was affectionately referred to as "ShaRa" by their admirers, who also admired their chemistry. There have recently been many rumours that the two split up because of conflict. Unfortunately, the actors have now formally announced their split, leaving their Shara family inconsolable.

Shamita Shetty revealed in a recent Instagram story that she is no longer dating Raqesh and that their separation took place quite some time ago.

"Being a private person, I did not want to publicly announce parting ways, however, I feel we owe it to our fans to put this out. I am mindful that this will break your hearts but hope you can continue to shower your love on us as individuals too. Looking forward to all your support A This music video is dedicated to all of you" penned Raqesh Bapat.

Earlier, Shamita Shetty also confirmed the news and stated, “I think it's important to make this clear. Raqesh and I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who have given us so much love n support,” the note read.

Besides, Shamita also requested fans to continue loving them both as individual person. “Do continue to shower us with your love as individuals too. Here’s to positivity and newer horizons. A Love and gratitude to you all,” her note concluded.

For the unversed, in March, there were initial rumours of Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat's breakup. Shamita Shetty then said, posting a screenshot of a news article: "We request you'll not to believe in sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. There's no truth in this. Love and light to everyone."
