Sharmaji Namkeen Movie Review: Sharmaji 'Namkeen' Baaki Saare 'Phikke'
Sharmaji Namkeen Movie Review: After watching the film, it's hard to believe that Rishi Kapoor Ji is no more. It is probably the first time that two different actors — Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal — were seen playing the role of one character in the film.

The film revolves around the post-retirement life of 'Sharma Ji' who is a workaholic and needs friends to talk to. Post-retirement life is not that easy and the film is proving it in a wonderful manner that it will not only tell you the importance of the old-age people at home but also their needs that need to be fulfilled.

Well, you might have listened that an old-age person becomes childish. It happens. And when it happens, it becomes difficult for their kids to take care of them.
Helmed by Hitesh Bhatia, Sharmaji Namkeen might not have over-the-top dialogues but the lessons and morality will hit you hard. The Indian drama is a proper family film that each and every generation need to see. Sharmaji's character switches between Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal yet it never appeared abrupt.

Hats off to Paresh Rawal who didn't let the audience think it was Rishi Kapoor just here. It won't be wrong to say but people watched Paresh Rawal as Rishi Kapoor; that's the best an actor can do. Besides Juhi Chawla showed again why she was, is, and will always be one of the prettiest actors in Bollywood.

The film is having music behind it that keeps saying, "Sharmaji 'Namkeen' Baaki Saare 'Phikke'" but you can say, 'Rishi Ji and Paresh Rawal were the real namkeen and everybody else was 'Phikke'.
