'Shershaah' team feels honored as they spent an evening at Kargil War Memorial!

In Ladakh's Kargil base camp, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and the Shershaah team spent the evening of Kargil Vijay Diwas with Indian Army soldiers. On Sunday, the cast and crew traveled to Kargil to launch the Shershaah trailer.

Captain Vikram Batra was martyred in the Kargil War, 22 years ago, fighting for his country. Vishal Batra, Vikram's twin brother, had a dream for years to share Vikram's tale on film. Finally, on the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Vishal stood in Kargil alongside the Shershaah team, which included Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Vishnu Vardhan, and Karan Johar, and presented the trailer for Vikram Batra's biopic.

Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Vishnu Vardhan, and Karan Johar are seen with General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Defence Staff, and Captain Vikram Batra's brother Vishal Batra. The photograph also included Indian Army soldiers and the rest of the Shershaah cast and crew.

The film is based on Captain Vikram Batra's life, who was martyred in the Kargil War and was awarded a medal the Param Vir Chakra. In the film, Sidharth Malhotra plays Captain Vikram Batra, while Kiara Advani plays Vikram Batra's fiancée Dimple Cheema.

Vishnu Vardhan directed the film, which is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will be released on Amazon Prime on August 12^th.
