Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra granted bail in pornography case by a Mumbai court

Raj Kundra, the husband of Shilpa Shetty, was granted bail in the pornography case by a Mumbai court on a Rs 50,000 surety bond.

Along with Raj Kundra, accused Ryan Thorpe has been granted bail in connection with the pornography case.

Kundra (46) had requested bail, claiming that there was no evidence against him in a supplementary charge sheet filed by the Mumbai police crime branch in the case.

Raj Kundra claimed in his plea that there was no proof of him being "actively" associated in the creation of alleged questionable porn content and that he was being used as a "scapegoat" in the case.

The crime branch, which is investigating the matter, recently filed a supplementary charge sheet in court against Raj Kundra and three others in the case involving the alleged creation of pornographic films and their distribution through various apps, including HotShots.

On July 19, Raj Kundra was arrested and charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.

Shilpa, on the other hand, has chosen not to comment or say anything about the matter. She only spoke up once, a few days after Raj's arrest, when she posted a lengthy note on social media. She stated in her note that she does not want to discuss such a sensitive subject at this time and has complete faith in the legal system.
