Shilpa Shirodkar shares why she lost 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' to Maliaka Arora

Shilpa Shirodkar news: On Maliaka Arora's new reality show 'Moving In With Malaika', filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan revealed big details about 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'. Farah Khan said that the song didn't include Malaika initially instead it was Shilpa Shirodkar who was to feature in the same. Meanwhile, Shilpa Shirodkar has now shared a statement about the same.

In a recent interview, Shilpa said that she was considered for 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'. But apparently, they thought she was too fat to fit into the role so they offered it to Malaika. She added on saying that she was upset as she really wanted to share the screen with space with the legend Shah Rukh Khan.

She went on to say that she didn't get a chance to feature in the iconic song, she mentioned that it was all destiny which she couldn't change but her wish of working with 'King Khan' was fulfilled when she later collaborated with him for 'Gaja Gamini' in which she had a cameo role.

Nobody actually knew that Shila Shirodkar was one of the five actresses who have rejected to do the song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'. Farah in Malaika Arora's show 'Moving in with Malaika said that Shilpa was rejected by the makers because of her weight. 

Farah further said Malaika was chosen by the makers after five heroines refused to climb on the train.

Further, Farah revealed that Maliaka might be the 'Chaiyaa Chaiyaa' girl but there were two-three people already in the queue because they had phobias and some other issues. Later, someone suggested Malaika's name and stated that she would be a perfect dancer.

Meanwhile, everyone was curious when Malaika climbed and whether she could perform on the train or not and the rest is history.
