Shocking! Bengali actress Pallavi Dey found dead in Kolkata flat

Pallavi Dey death news: In a shocking incident, the Bengali TV actress Pallavi Dey was found dead at her rented flat in Kolkata’s Garfa area on Sunday, the police said.

According to information, the 25-year-old actress was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented flat.

Pallavi Dey, who was playing the female lead in the TV show ‘Mon Mane Na’, left the whole industry in shock.

Meanwhile, the investigators have claimed that as per the initial investigation it appeared to be suicide while Dey’s family has raised the suspicion that it could be a murder.

Reportedly, Pallavi Dey was rushed to the MR Bangur hospital where she was declared brought dead. The police is investigating the cause of Pallavi Dey’s death as it’s everywhere in the news and people are keeping eye on the investigation. The actor’s body has been sent for autopsy.

The police in an official statement said that the incident took place at around 9:30 am when the actress was found hanging from a ceiling fan with a bedsheet.

Likewise, a case has been registered into the matter. If reports are to be believed then Pallavi was in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend Shagnik Chakraborty.

Therefore, Shagnik was being questioned at the Garfa police station. Reportedly, he works in a private company.

He informed the police that the door was locked from inside when he returned after smoking. He further said that he broke open the door and found Pallavi’s body hanging.
