Balkaur Singh, the father of renowned Punjabi musician late Sidhu Moose Wala, made his first public appearance following Sidhu's death on Monday during the ribbon cutting ceremony for a road in the Burj Dhalwa village of the Mansa area. Sidhu Moose Wala promised to build this road throughout the campaign.
Balkaur Singh, Moose Wala's father, alleged that during the elections, more than sixty persons attempted to kill his son, and that even the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led administration did all in its ability to weaken his protection and put him to danger.
"During the time of the assembly elections, more than 8 attempts were made to kill my son, though due to his security, he was protected," Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh said.
He further stated, “But the security of my son and many other individuals was reduced by the new government, the news spread widely through the media, and the next day he was killed.”
