Sidhu Moose Wala's SYL song removed from YouTube: The first song 'SYL' post the death of Sidhu Moose Wala was released just few days back on June 23. The song which focuses on Satluj-Yamuna link canal project in a matter of time garnered million view on YouTube. However, Sidhu Moose Wala's song SYL has been banned in India due to legal complaint from the government.

Yes, you read that correct. SYL song by Sidhu Moose Wala was released under his official YouTube account on June 23, however, now the screen reads as "This content is not available on this country domain due to legal complaint from the government."

About SYL song

The subject of the song showcases different problems faced by Punjab and the people of Punjab. It emphasises the Satluj Yamana Link canal dispute, a Sikh prisoner, and the latest agricultural legislation agitation among others.

SYL, Sidhu Moosewala's debut song after his passing, was made available on his YouTube channel. The late vocalist himself penned, wrote, and sang the song. Navkaran Brar created the video and the artwork, and MXRCI produced it.

The song visuals also included 1984 holocaust images of Punjabi rivers and old photographs from Punjab showing people rebelling against various laws. Short Sidhu Moosewala video snippets have also been added by the creators.

The song which crossed more than 27 million in just few days have been now banned in Indian domain. Several fans have reacted on this legal action and expressed their dissatisfaction for the decision.
