Sirjanhaari Episode 3: Wrestlers Navjot Kaur And Bul Bul Will Be The Next Guests
Wrestlers Navjot Kaur and Bulbul will be the next guests on PTC Punjabi’s new show ‘Sirjanhaari’.
‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ is all about showcasing inspiring tales of women who battled odds to change the world around them.
Besides honouring them, PTC Punjabi in association with Nanhi Chhan Punjab will also give them ‘Sirjanhaari Awards 2018′ for their achievements.
Here are the synopsis of Episode 3:
Navjot Gaur – She is the first Indian woman wrestler who bagged a gold at the Senior Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek. Daughter of a farmer, Navjot defied the odds to become a wrestler.
Besides winning a gold at Asian Wrestling Championships, Navjot won a bronze in the Junior World Wrestling Championship in 2009, a silver at the Asian Championships in 2013 and a bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
During the show, she will share her journey.
Bul Bul – She will be another guest on the show. Her real name is Sarabjit Kaur. Bul Bul is the first professional woman wrestler from India. She is among one of the stars to emerge from Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE), a wrestling academy in Jalandhar launched by former WWE star The Great Khali.
Besides wrestling, Bul Bul played games like kabaddi and kho-kho. Interestingly, Bul Bul even played football at national level.

Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi, senior executive of a leading newspaper of Punjab and a leading social activist Gurjot Kaur and Rajni Bector, founder of a well-known brand Cremicafoods, are among the jury members on the show.
