Sunny Deol announces the first schedule shoot wrap of Gadar 2 with his look as Tara Singh

The blockbuster film of 2001 Gadar will now be remembered once again as the sequel of the film is in the process. This year in October the film ‘Gadar 2’ was officially announced with some pictures of the mahurat shot spotting Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in their roles.

This Thursday, film main lead Sunny Deol announced the first schedule wrap of the shoot on his social media handle with a glimpse. The post features Sunny Deol in the character Tara Singh from Gadar 2.

The film is directed by Anil Sharma which will feature Utkarsh Sharma along with Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol. Ameesha Patel will be seen in the character of Sakeena and Utkarsh Sharma in the role of Jeete, who was a son of Tara and Sakeena in part one.

Sharing two pictures of Tara Singh on the social media handle Sunny wrote, “Only a fortunate few get to bring amazing characters back to life. Presenting Tara Singh 20 years later! Wrapped the first schedule of #Gadar2. Feeling blessed. #Gadar #TaraSingh.”

Earlier also Ameesha Patel shared some behind the scenes from the Gadar 2 sets. The film shoot was started on 1^st December  in the beautiful city Palampur.

This year in June 'Gadar' film completed 20 years of its release. Talking about the film Anil Sharma, the film’s director said, “The entire nation wants Tara Singh to come back and that Jeete grows up.”
