Swag Te Superstar: PTC Punjabi And My FM Come Together To Talk To Celebs About Their Lockdown Experiences

As the appetite for entertainment has gone up, the two power houses of entertainment - PTC Punjabi and My FM has joined hands to launch ‘Swag Te Superstar’ – a one of its kind chat show featuring My FM RJ Meenakshi.

The initiative reflects PTC Network’s innate passion to deliver world class entertainment to its audience. The 15-episode show will feature top Punjabi superstars like Sukhbir, Parmish Verma, Gurnam Bhullar, Gippy Grewal and Aashta Gill among others, talking about their lockdown experiences and performing for their audience.

PTC Network has always been at the forefront of devising unique and out-of-the-box concepts to entertain its audience. Announcing the launch of ‘Swag Te Superstar’, Rabindra Narayan, Managing Director & President, PTC Network said, “While the world is facing a health crisis, we at PTC Network continue to evangelise ‘Positivity’. As a seasoned broadcaster, we’ve taken a lead in innovating and presenting original content to our audience reeling under anxiety around the pandemic.”

The show will broadcast on PTC Punjabi and MY FM 94.3 radio station and will be simulcast on their social media platforms. Keeping with the times, the host as well as the artists will participate in the program from the comfort and safety of their homes to respect the lockdown guidelines and social distancing measures. “With this ingenious alliance between PTC Network and My FM, we are leveraging best of digital technology for creating fresh content that will be broadcasted on TV, Radio and Digital platforms”, Rabindra added.

Sharing his views on the alliance, Mr. Rahul Namjoshi, COO, MY FM, added, “Unprecedented and uncertain times bring out some of the best concepts; both MY FM and PTC share the same ideology of spreading positivity and hope, along with a big dose of daily entertainment for its audience. Meanwhile, TV episode goes on air at 8:30 PM daily from Monday to Friday on PTC Punjabi and on PTC Chak De at 10 AM on the next day. The digital simulcast happens at 5:30 PM through PTC Network’s Facebook Page.
