Karan Johar’s big dream film ‘Takht’ has been making headlines with the big starcast of the film. But recently the project was speculated to be shelved out because of the financial crunch everyone has faced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The rumors of the film getting shelved have been put to rest by the director of the film, where Karan Johar has said, “Takht is not shelved. It’s just delayed”.

According to the reports Karan Johar is currently working on finishing the films that are already in process before he begins his dream project. His ongoing projects include ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor,and then ‘Brahmastra’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.

Talking about Takht the film’s starcast includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Anil Kapoor. The film is going to be a historical drama based on the Mughal Rivalry.
