'The Kashmir Files' actor Darshan Kumar slipped into depression while portraying 'Krishna Pandit'
Acting is not an easy task. Once you get into a character, it becomes difficult to come out of it. 'The Kashmir Files' actor Darshan Kumar has revealed that he had slipped into a depression while portraying the role of 'Krishna Pandit' in the film.

‘The Kashmir Files’ is one of the most successful films in the Bollywood industry which has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark and inching closer to the Rs 250 crore mark.

Each and every character of the film 'The Kashmir Files' have put their 100 percent and shaken the hearts of the people who are watching it. One such character from the film was 'Krishna Pandit' who was played by actor Darshan Kumar.
Darshan has made a special place in the hearts of the audience with his portrayal as 'Kashmiri Pandit'.

Recently, Darshan Kumar revealed that he went into depression during the shooting of the film. In an interview with a media organisation, he revealed that 'The Kashmir Files' was very challenging for him in every aspect, be it physically, mentally, or emotionally.
He said that he had to get deep into the character for which he used his imagination and lived all the incidents that happened to the Krishna Pandit and his family members. Furthermore, he said that he had to feel the pain in front of the camera, therefore he didn't sleep for nights.

He then went on to say that the meditation helped him. It was one of the toughest journeys for him, he said. 'The Kashmir Files' shows the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. The film has broken many records at the box office after it was released in theaters on March 11.
