'The Kashmir Files' cast salary: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ is not only dominating the box office but also making headlines. Based on the hardships faced by the Kashmiri Pandits during the 1990s, the film 'The Kashmir Files' featured Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi among the others in pivotal roles.

From eminent political leaders, celebrities to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone is praising the film and urging Indians to watch the film. Likewise, the film is drawing a bit of criticism. The film has been made tax-free in several states.

From Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty to Punit Issar, the star cast of 'The Kashmir Files' has justified their characters. Everybody is praising them.

However, there are those who are looking for the salary of The Kashmir Files' cast.

As per the report, Mithun Chakraborty is the highest-paid actor from the film as he took Rs. 1.5 crore for the film. He played the role of IAS Brahma Dutt in the movie.

Anupam Kher, who played the role of Pushkar Nath Pandit, was paid a whopping Rs. 1 crore for the film while actor Pallavi Joshi was charged between Rs. 50-70 lakhs. Similarly, Darshan Kumar was given Rs. 45 lakhs for the film while actor Punit Issar, who played the role of DGP Hari Narain, charged Rs. 50 lakhs. Meanwhile, Laxmi Dutt was paid Rs. 50 lakhs.

The report also stated that the director Vivek Agnihotri charged Rs. 1 crore for ‘The Kashmir Files’. The movie hit the theatres on March 11, 2022, and crossed Rs. 200 crore-mark at the worldwide box office within 10 days.
