'Adipurush' lands in LEGAL trouble: The release of the movie 'Adipurush,' featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has been generating significant attention since it premiered in theaters. Despite its success at the box office, the directorial work of Om Raut has become entangled in controversies due to its dialogues and the language used, which are based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Recent reports suggest that the film's makers and actors have encountered legal issues, as a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed with the Hazratganj police.

Shishir Chaturvedi, the national spokesperson of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha, filed the FIR against the film's makers and star cast. In his complaint, he alleges that the movie intentionally seeks to insult Hindu sentiments by distorting the depiction of Hindu gods through offensive dialogues and costumes. Chaturvedi further claims that filmmakers lack the courage to create films pertaining to religious leaders of other faiths. Additionally, amidst the controversy surrounding 'Adipurush' and the debate over Sita's place of birth, Kathmandu has banned the screening of Indian films.

Ever since the release of Om Raut's ambitious project 'Adipurush,' starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, the film has been mired in controversies. Various leaders and organizations have called for the temporary suspension of the film's screening by the Censor Board, urging a re-evaluation of its 'controversial' scenes and dialogues.

This 3D multilingual film, which also features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, premiered nationwide on Friday.
