Alia Bhatt secures starry spot on TIME's 100 most influential list; Here's how the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress rose to global fame

Her name was published among the most influential list on 17th April 2024 and the actress has been lauded by Tom Harper, a renowned director, writer and producer with whom Alia collaborated during her first Hollywood debut, 'Heart of Stone.'
The British filmmaker and writer, Tom Harper heaped praises on Alia Bhatt's sheer dedication and hard work and called her a 'formidable talent'. He, moreover made it clear how Alia Bhatt is not just about Indian cinema but also a woman who is a true example of successful entrepreneurship and philanthropism. While talking about his first encounter with Alia, he wrote, "I met Alia on Heart of Stone, her English-language film debut. Despite her fame, on set, she is self-effacing and funny. There is a grace to the way she goes about her work: focused, open to ideas, and willing to take creative risks. One of my favorite moments in the film came from an improvisation at the end of a take where she took the emotional thread and ran with it."
Continuing further with his statement, Harper mentioned Alia's superpower of owning professionalism. "Alia’s superpower is her ability to mix movie-star magnetism with authenticity and sensitivity. As an actor, she is luminous, and as a person, she brings the grounded assurance and creativity that make a truly international star."
