Ravindra Mahajani had been residing in a rented flat located in Ambi Village, Pune. It was in this apartment that his lifeless body was discovered by the authorities. The discovery came after the neighbors detected a foul odor emanating from his flat and promptly alerted the police. Concerned about the situation, the police arrived at the scene and took necessary action to gain access to the premises. It is believed that Ravi Mahajani's demise occurred approximately two to three days prior to the discovery.

Originally hailing from Mumbai, Ravi Mahajani had made a name for himself in the film industry with his debut in the movie "Sat Hindustani." In this film, he portrayed the role of a police inspector alongside the renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan. The success of his debut propelled him to explore the world of Marathi cinema, where he showcased his acting prowess in notable films such as "Aaram Haram Aahe," "Duniya Kari Salam," and "Haldi Kunku." His talent and versatility extended to other projects as well, including "Mumbai Cha Faujdar" (1984), "Zunj" (1989), and "Kalat Nakalat" (1990).
