In a tragic incident on May 21, renowned Bengali actress Suchandra Dasgupta lost her life in a road accident in Baranagar, West Bengal. The unfortunate incident occurred when a truck collided with the bike taxi she was riding.

Suchandra Dasgupta, a well-known face among television viewers, was highly regarded for her supporting role in the popular series 'Gauri'. Despite wearing a helmet, the collision between the truck and the bike taxi was sudden and forceful.
