Bollywood’s upcoming mega movie ‘Adipurush’ poster unveils on Ram Navami; Internet users slams the movie makers; Here's why?
Bollywood's upcoming magnum opus 'Adipurush' directed by Om Raut is already creating buzz. The makers have now unveiled the new poster of the movie on the occasion of 'Ram Navami'. The film includes Prabhas among the four main leads of the movie. The poster features Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. All the lead actors were seen resembling the Hindu epic 'Ramayana'.
'Adipurush' cast and crew
'Adipurush', a multilingual period drama has been adopted from the mythological epic 'Ramayana' based on the 'Victory of good over evil'. Under the direction of Om Raut, the movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-series, Prasad Sutar, Om, and Rajesh Nair. In addition to Prabhas, Sunny Singh, and Kriti Sanon, the film also includes another stellar actor Saif Ali Khan as 'Ravana', the king of Lanka.
Netizens slam 'Adipurush' poster
While some are hailing the new poster released by the makers, some are slamming it for not being so 'appropriate'. People flooded with their displeasure over the new poster released by the makers. One of them wrote "Just imagine Prabhas's Baahubali look of long hair as lord Rama, it would have been awesome, Om Raut ruined Prabha's potential totally, because of this guy, for the first time Prabhas is getting trolled", attacking directly on Om Raut. While another one trolled makers and stated "Edited in PicsArt".
'Adipurush' movie release date
Prabhas has shared the poster and wrote, "Mantron se badhke tera naam Jai Shree Ram". The actor captioned it in three languages namely English, Hindi, and Telegu. The movie is set to be released on June 16, 2023, in three different languages respectively.
