Honey Singh's Candid Response to Badshah's Reconciliation Attempt: 'I Have Nothing to Do with Him'

Badshah, a celebrated singer and rapper in India, has become a linchpin in the contemporary Bollywood music scene. His repertoire boasts numerous superhit songs, making him a sought-after artist whose name has become synonymous with chart-topping hits. However, there was a time when the music world was dominated not by Badshah, but by another eminent rapper, Honey Singh.

In the past, Honey Singh reigned supreme as India's foremost rapper, enjoying unparalleled fame and success. During this period, Badshah collaborated with him, marking the early days of his career. Despite their initial camaraderie, their relationship deteriorated over time, leading to frequent clashes and a widening rift.

Honey Singh on his feud with Badshah's

The long-standing feud between Badshah and Honey Singh has been a subject of much public and media interest. Recently, in a candid interview, Honey Singh addressed this feud in light of Badshah's recent attempts to reconcile. Honey Singh remarked, “I have nothing to do with Badshah and do not consider him an ally. I don’t even consider him… There are a few dear people in my life, and I will never let them be upset with me.”

A Concert of Reconciliation

The turning point came on a Friday night during a concert in Dehradun. Performing at Graffest 2024, Badshah publicly declared an end to the animosity that had long marred his relationship with Honey Singh. In an emotional address to the audience, the 38-year-old rapper expressed his desire to move forward and let go of past grievances.

“There was a time in my life when I harboured a lot of resentment towards one person, and now I want to end it. I want to leave that resentment behind, and that person is Honey Singh,” Badshah announced. His words resonated deeply with the audience, marking a poignant moment in his performance.

Reflecting on the Past

Badshah further reflected on the factors that had driven a wedge between him and Honey Singh. “I was upset due to some misunderstandings, but then I realised that when we were together, there were very few who supported us, but many who tried to break us apart,” he said. His remarks highlighted the external pressures and influences that had contributed to their discord.

The rapper's decision to publicly address and end the feud signifies a significant step towards healing and reconciliation in the Indian music industry. “Today, I just want to let everyone know that I have left that phase behind and now I wish him well,” Badshah concluded, extending an olive branch to his former collaborator.
