Early on July 4th, the team landed in Delhi from Barbados, touching down at 6 AM. After a brief stop at the ITC Maurya Hotel, they proceeded to the Prime Minister's residence for their scheduled meeting. Led by Captain Rohit Sharma, the team arrived carrying the prestigious trophy, symbolizing their triumph on the global stage.
The video footage depicts the players' entrance into the residence, with Rohit Sharma prominently displaying the trophy. Following him were notable players such as Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, and Akshar Patel, accompanied by Coach Rahul Dravid and senior players Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Rishabh Pant was also seen in the gathering, awaiting Prime Minister Modi's arrival.
Upon Prime Minister Modi's entrance, he warmly greeted the team, posing alongside them alongside BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah. The atmosphere was marked by moments of joviality and heartfelt exchanges, with Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma engaging in light-hearted conversations with Narendra Modi.
