Neena Gupta gets badly trolled for wearing shorts at Panchayat 3 screening!
India's one of the most beloved web series, Panchayat is back with its third sequel. Released on its parent OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, this Jitu Kumar starrer series held a special screening in Mumbai on Monday, 27th May evening that was attended by some of the biggest celebrities in the industry including its star cast ensemble. The guest list also included veteran actress Neena Gupta who is playing the pivotal role of Manju Devi in the show.
Her attendance was a starry moment to behold on the screening night but nitizens seemed quite the opposite as the iconic actress got slammed by internet users for wearing an extremely short-looking co-red set at the event. Recently, a paparazzi video went viral on the socials, where the 64-year-old diva could seen posing for the shutterbugs in her cool-looking white co-red set short outfit. Accessorizing her outfit with a layer of gold necklaces and a bold red cross-body bag, she finished off her look with a sneaker and sunglasses.
The look served by the 64-year-old actress left people stunned as she received backlash from a large group of people on the internet. While age-shaming the actress, people trolled her blindly and even compared her to Uorfi Javed. While bombarding their views on the post, one user called her 'Uoirfi Ki Nani' and another user suggested her to 'you should dress your age'. The comments section of the viral video soon turned into a war zone as many came in support of Neena Gupta too. Defending the negative arguments on the actress, one of the users wrote, "I love women taking care of themselves and not caring about the society…. She is not wearing anything revealing….. It's just shorts and shirt with that confidence and smile."
The most awaited sequel of the year, Panchayat season 3 stars Neena Gupta alongside Jitendra Kumar, Chandan Roy, Raghubir Yadav, and Faisal Malik in the leading roles. The satirical political rivalry on a grassroots level entwined with love and humor promises to surely enthrall it's audiences just like its previous two seasons. Speaking about the fresh installment, the show ropes off a new secretary coming to the district, pulling back Jitendra's character for some circumstances. As the Panchayat elections are just on the head, the show will revolve around everyone trying to uplift their image in the political vicinity.
