Raveena Tandon finally breaks her silence on Bandra attack: Pens down note on 'violence against women'

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is known for her impeccable contribution to the world of Indian cinema. But the sensational actress found herself trapped when an incident blew her off last Saturday as a group of people mobbed the riveting fame openly outside her residence. The incident shook every Indian as people could be seen lashing at the actress and her driver like wild boars. Amid such heated controversy where she was accused of assaulting three individuals, the case took no time to reach the Mumbai Police. Now after the bygone days of the public assault, Raveena Tandon finally broke her silence on the attack and wrote down a strong note on 'violence against women.'

Raveena Tandon's strong note on the Saturday attack 

Today, on June 7, 2024, iconic actress Raveena Tandon took over her Instagram handle to write down her impression on the mob attack leashed on Saturday in the Mumbai city Bandra. Talking about the incident she wrote, "In a world where public scrutiny is relentless, it is essential to remember that women achievers are human too. Disparaging them solely for their fame is unfair and harmful. This increasing violence against women and children the world over needs to be addressed urgently. It’s time we stand united against violence and hooliganism." 

Meanwhile, Miss Tandon also thanked the people who came in support of the actress. Taking over her Gram's story on Thursday, she penned, "Thank you for the overwhelming love,belief and support ! Moral of the story? Get dashcams and cctvs now!"

Mumbai Police clarified the Raveena Tandon attack 

For the unversed, after police got their hands on the CCTV footage, the Mumbai Police gave a clean chit to the actress and her driver as it could be visibly seen that no one got hurt as per the made allegations. They even cleared the air around the buzz that the driver was just trying to reverse the car to park it outside the bungalow. It was when three women and a man came behind and ruthlessly created the chaotic situation who believed that they could have been hit while Raveena's driver was reversing. However, Mumbai Police also confronted an eyewitness from the location who admitted that Raveena Tandon was not drunk.
