Rishi Singh from Ayodhya wins Indian Idol 13; Deets inside
The long-awaited finale of Indian Idol 13 has come to an end on Sunday and announced the country's next music sensation. Rishi Singh, a 19-year-old boy hailing from the land of Lord Ram, Ayodhya, was announced as the winner of Indian Idol 13.

Rishi Singh titled winner of 'Indian Idol 13'
Rishi always wanted to be a professional singer, and indeed he received immense love and support from Indian viewers. Rishi was announced as the winner of Indian Idol 13 making everyone proud. Rishi acquired huge support from the initial audition days after his singing clip got viral. Born in 2003, Rishi, as a young aspirant has also given his voice to numerous songs, covers as well original compositions on YouTube.
Rishi Singh made it to the coveted trophy after leaving behind six contestants. The finalists list included Chirag Kotwal, Bidipta Chakraborty, Sonakshi Kar, Debosmita Roy, Chirag Kotwal, and Shivam Singh.
Prizes won by the contestants
The winner was announced on Sunday and struck down Kolkata's Debosmita Roy as the first runner-up followed by Jammu and Kashmir's Chirag Kotwal as the second runner-up. Rishi along with the prestigious trophy also took home a brand new car and a cash prize of ₹25,00,000. Meanwhile the first and the second runner-up won ₹5,00,000 each and the other competitors Bidipta Chakraborty and Shivam Singh were given a cash prize of ₹3,00,000 each.
Rishi expreses his feeling of gratitude
In a statement, Rishi shared his feeling and quoted "It was a dream come true moment for me when my name was announced as the winner of this season. It is a huge honor to be taking ahead the legacy of such a well-loved and prestigious show." He graciously thanked the audience who had shown him love and support and made his dream come true.
