Shah Rukh Khan Steps Out with Y+ Security for the First Time, Video Goes Viral

Last week, the Maharashtra government took a significant step in enhancing the security detail for Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, elevating his security to the Y category. This decision was made in response to credible and life-threatening threats received by the beloved actor, following the phenomenal success of his recent blockbusters, "Pathan" and "Jawaan."

In an unprecedented move, Shahrukh Khan was seen accompanied by his Y security team for the very first time at a Mumbai cinema. The King Khan, alongside renowned filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Rani Mukherjee, graced a special screening of the timeless classic "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," commemorating the film's 25th anniversary.

"Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," a cinematic gem starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee, celebrated a quarter-century of cinematic excellence. To mark this significant milestone, director Karan Johar organized three exclusive screenings for die-hard fans. A video shared on social media depicted Shahrukh Khan leaving his opulent residence, Mannat, surrounded by a tight security cordon. He gracefully entered his car, flanked by his security team forming a protective shield around him. Inside the theater, vigilant security personnel were stationed at every corner, ensuring the safety of the superstar during his interactions with adoring fans.

For this special occasion, Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar sported dashing black attire, while Rani Mukherjee graced the event in an elegant beige-colored sari.

Earlier this month, it came to light that Shahrukh Khan had become the target of life-threatening threats, fueled by the resounding success of his latest films, "Pathan" and "Jawaan." The achievements of these cinematic triumphs triggered a confidential report that underscored a significantly heightened risk to Shahrukh Khan's life.

In an official notification issued by Dilip Sawant, Special IG and VIP Security, a recommendation was made for unit commanders to provide Y category security for Shahrukh Khan during his travels and public engagements. The cost of this heightened security, aimed at safeguarding him from potential threats or undesirable incidents, will be borne by Shahrukh Khan himself.

Reports indicate that Shahrukh Khan's enhanced security arrangement will include a dedicated team of six police commandos, who will be at his side at all times. This security detail will be equipped with MP-5 machine guns, AK-47 assault rifles, and Glock pistols, ensuring a formidable protective ring around the superstar. Furthermore, four armed police personnel will be stationed at his residence to bolster security measures. The expenses incurred in maintaining this heightened security apparatus will be personally covered by Shahrukh Khan, underlining his unwavering commitment to his own safety and the safety of his admirers.
