The Tamil film industry is mourning the loss of one of its veterans, Manobala, who passed away at the age of 69 in Chennai. The actor and director had been undergoing treatment for a liver-related issue for the past few weeks before his death. Manobala was known for his comic timing and humor and had been a part of more than 450 films in his long 35-year career. He started his acting career in 1979 with Bharathiraja's Puthiya Varppugal and went on to win several accolades and awards for his performances.
