Gurucharan Sodhi, widely known for his role in "Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," recently made headlines when he went missing. Sodhi’s father filed a missing complaint, which set off a frantic search. After 25 days, Sodhi returned, shedding light on his mysterious disappearance.
In an emotional revelation, Sodhi explained that his absence was voluntary. He embarked on an unplanned journey, disconnecting from the world. “I had left everything to God. I believe that you can take me forward or stop me here, but it is up to God,” he said, highlighting his deep spiritual beliefs.
Sodhi narrated the challenges he faced during this period. Wearing the same trousers for 17 days, enduring days without bathing, and even spending nights at bus stands and railway platforms were just part of his ordeal. His decision to return was prompted by a shopkeeper recognizing him, causing him to hastily leave and catch a bus to Chandigarh.
Clearing the air about his disappearance, Sodhi clarified that it wasn't due to financial troubles. “I didn’t disappear because I was in debt or because of my inability to repay the loan. Karz toh mujhpar aaj bhi hai. Niyat meri acchi hai aur udhar lekar abhi tak mein credit card and EMIs ki payment kiye jaraha hoon,” he stated, emphasizing his ongoing efforts to manage his financial obligations.
Addressing his fans and industry colleagues, Sodhi made a heartfelt plea for work, expressing his passion for acting. “Please, I'm available, I need work. I want to work with my heart because I enjoy working. I would love to. If you can, please call me on my phone number and I am available on Instagram. I want to do a lot for my fans,” he said.
In May, Sodhi returned home after nearly a month. Reflecting on his decision to come back, he mentioned seeking divine guidance throughout his journey. Spending nights in Gurudwaras, especially the Golden Temple in Amritsar, he experienced what he described as a divine intervention, which led him to return home.
