On Tuesday morning, Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to voice her distress, questioning the alarming rise of hatred worldwide. She wrote, "Heartbroken. Actress Parineeti Chopra also shared her sorrow, posting on X, "Heartbroken to see the images coming in from #Reasi. Praying for the family of the deceased; may God give them strength, and may the injured recover as soon as possible."

The attack occurred when terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori cave shrine in Reasi district. The incident took place near Teryath village at around 6:10 pm. The bus, carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori shrine to Katra, plunged into a gorge in the Pouni area, leading to the tragic loss of lives and injuries.

The terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba is suspected to be behind the attack. The Jammu and Kashmir police have formed multiple teams to investigate, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) assessed the situation on Monday, with their forensic team collecting evidence from the scene.
