Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Salman Khan Roars at the Box Office, Crossing Rs 100 Crore Milestone
Salman Khan's latest movie, Tiger 3, has roared its way to success at the box office. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, saw a remarkable jump in revenue on its second day, even though it was a Monday. According to reports, the movie earned Rs 57 crore on its second day, bringing its domestic net total to over Rs 100 crore in just two days. The worldwide gross of Tiger 3 is approaching Rs 200 crore.
Tiger 3 opened with Rs 44 crore on Diwali, setting a new record for Salman Khan. Although it fell short of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which opened to Rs 57 crore earlier in the year, Tiger 3 is expected to surpass Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan day 2 record. Jawan made Rs 75 crore on the opening day but earned Rs 53 crore on the second day of release. The film eventually made Rs 1100 crore at the worldwide box office.
Both Pathaan and Tiger 3 are part of the YRF Spy Universe, which also includes Hrithik Roshan's War. The star-studded cast of all three films, featuring Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan, has added to the excitement around Tiger 3, countering the mixed critical response it has received.
With Rs 102 crore already in the bank, Tiger 3 is expected to continue its strong performance through the first week, including the Bhai Dooj holiday on Wednesday. The film has already delivered a record gross of Rs 94 crore globally on its opening day and is rapidly approaching the Rs 200 crore mark. Tiger 3's success signifies a triumphant return for Salman Khan at the box office.
